THE GREATEST NEWS EVER TOLD!

Why devote so much time and resources to defending the early chapters in Genesis? Does it really matter what we believe about how we got here and whether or not God created everything the way the Bible describes?

It's a great question! It matters because what is at stake is whether or not we can trust the Bible. If we can't trust the Bible when it speaks about the creation of the first plants and animals, Adam and Eve, the Fall (Adam's sin leading to death and separation from God), the Flood, and so on, how can we trust the rest of the Bible? After all, the early chapters in Genesis are foundational to all biblical doctrines, our Christian worldview, and the Gospel Message. So, if the Bible got the creation of the "First Adam" wrong, then how can we trust what it says about the "Last Adam"?

The Bible refers to Jesus as the "Last Adam." The First Adam introduced death into the world through his sin, which ruined our right relationship with God. The "Last Adam," Jesus Christ, restored our relationship with God by paying the penalty for our sins, which is death. As Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

By dying as our substitute on the cross, Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and defeated death by rising to life. Because of what He did for us, Christ offers to every person the free gift of eternal life through the forgiveness of sins. The Bible calls this The Gospel, which means "good news." It truly is the greatest news ever told!

To receive this free gift of eternal life, you must believe in Jesus and surrender to His loving Lordship over your life. When you do, God will give you a new heart and new desires. You will begin to understand why God calls certain things "sinful," and you will no longer want anything to do with your former patterns of behavior that separated you from God. Instead, you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Your life will change as you begin to live your life to please God and love your neighbor as yourself. That is what it means to be "born again." Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” –John 3:3

Sadly, many people do not take this Gospel Message seriously because they have been led to believe that science has disproven the Bible's history recorded in Genesis, which explains our need for Jesus due to the sin of the first man, Adam. That's why we spend so much time showing how the major fields of science support the biblical view of history recorded in Genesis. It is our prayer that you will take the time to learn about the issues and dig deeper so that you can place your full confidence in Jesus, the lover of your soul. Our articles page and free full-length feature film are great places to start.
