Dr. Rupe encourages the church to stand firm on the early chapters of Genesis as a record of actual historical events. Why Natural Selection Can't Stop Mutational Meltdown
Many people, including Christians, embrace evolution, and the main reason is that they have been led to believe that evolution is a scientific fact. Yet population genetics, the very field of science that underpins neo-Darwinian theory, has powerfully undermined its primary axiom. The mutation/selection process cannot build the genome, let alone stop the relentless process of genetic entropy caused by mutation accumulation. Lucy Was Human? The Pygmy Human Hypothesis
This video is from a lecture presented at the Midwest Creation Fellowship in Illinois on March 3, 2025. Dr. Rupe shares several examples of true human fossils that were misclassified as Lucy's species, Australopithecus afarensis. Even granting the evolutionary dates, these fossils predate the supposed origin of the human genus Homo. Such findings falsify the ape-to-man model. A Human Knee That Predates Humans? | Lucy's Species Paradox
A year before Lucy was discovered, Donald Johanson found a fossil knee joint (AL 129-1) that he described as virtually identical to a human knee, except for its small size. Because it was dated to 3.4 million years ago, "too old" to be human, it was assigned to Lucy's species instead. Navajo Sandstone: Desert or Flood? Interview with Dr. Brian Thomas
