Things to Consider Before Requesting Speaking Event

A Back2Genesis event is an engaging and impactful experience that shares compelling evidence for biblical creation and teaches the foundational importance of Genesis 1–11 to the Christian worldview.

Presentation Length – A typical presentation for an adult service/event will span 35-60 minutes, followed by an optional 5-15-minute Q&A session.

​

A Missionary Call – Back2Genesis is a non-profit ministry that runs on partnerships and donations. At the end of each presentation, Chris will ask for donor support to help sustain and further the ministry of Back2Genesis. 

​

Technology – Dr. Rupe uses his own laptop and PowerPoint software for all his presentations. You will want to ensure that the hosting venue is equipped so he can present his laptop directly at the podium. If necessary, Chris can bring his 100-foot-long HDMI cable to ensure he can use his laptop at the podium. His PowerPoint presentations will need a projector or a large video screen. If that is not readily available, Back2Genesis can bring one to the venue, if necessary. We will just need to know in advance.

Resource Table – Before and/or after the event, Chris would like to provide resources for attendees to purchase, including documentary film(s), books, and Bible-affirming curricula to equip the church. A volunteer from your organization to help manage the book table enables Chris to focus on connecting with attendees before and after an event.

Travel Costs – Back2Genesis is a non-profit ministry and operates through donations and partnerships. Please consider the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and any other related expenses when hosting an event.

​

Speaker Availability – To maximize Dr. Rupe's availability, we recommend partnering with other churches or organizations in your area. If possible, he would love to share at any local Christian schools, youth groups, college campus ministries, etc. 

​

If an in-person event doesn't work for you, you may consider scheduling an online presentation with your group (e.g., a Zoom meeting).
